“When the people heard the sound of the rams’ horns they shouted, as loud as they could. Suddenly, the walls of Jericho collapsed, and the Israelites charged straight into the town and captured it.”

Joshua 6:20

Do you know, God has already given us victory.? We just need to step out in faith.

In scripture, the walls of Jericho and the killing of Goliath were examples of this. Even Canaan was an example of this but the people did not step out in faith.

The slaying of Goliath seemed like an impossible task, but David knew God already defeated the giant. The marching around the walls of Jericho seemed foolish but they did and shouted and the walls came tumbling down.

There is something important that we can’t miss about faith and obedience. Whatever obstacle you are facing, belief and trusting are essential in overcoming giants. Even though Israel failed in the past, later on, They carried out the commands of God and won.

You see, our faith is evidence to others that we truly believe in God. Our faith is a testimony to others who are watching. Now when James says faith without works is dead, it becomes all clear.

Sometimes that means stepping out and looking foolish. But we do so, because we believe in what God Says!
