“If you diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.” Deuteronomy 28:1 Obedience to me is a thrilling adventure motivated by my love for Christ. And all I want to do is please Him. I am not obedient to Him … Continue reading Deuteronomy 28:1
“Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.” Psalm 23:4 “It saids, walk through, not camp there, not fighting through, not having a good cry, because it gains us nothing. At one time I did not look at suffering as profitable, but through this I matured spiritually. It exposes the fiber of my faith. Do I boast … Continue reading Psalm 23:4
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.” Proverbs 3:5-6 Just like the next generation of Israel who faced the risk that their fathers rejected, God also calls us to do the same. He calls us to do the supernatural in confronting the giants in our lives … Continue reading Proverbs 3:5-6
“Tell your children about it, let your children tell your children, and their children to the next generation.” Joel 1:3 Joel urged the elders of Judah to tell their descendants the story of what God did among them. “I will lie awake thinking of you, meditating on you through the night.” Psalm 63:6 I just love this passage of scripture concerning David. No wonder he was a man after Gods own heart. As I was in the woods last week before it got light, I was looking at the stars and then they disappeared and the day came alive with many sounds. That is exactly what … Continue reading SELAH
One night last week, I awoke and these words were laid on my heart. IS THERE ANY EVIDENCE OF JOY IN YOU? I wrote those words down and I circled the word evidence. “I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy and that your joy will overflow.” John 15:11 The word given to me last week was this, IS THERE ANY EVIDENCE OF JOY IN YOU? “Bless the Lord, oh my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name.” Psalm 103:1 Just another example of telling your soul to PUSH THROUGH. This is awesome! We are encouraged to talk to ourselves and we have not lost it. I do that, don’t you. I tell my soul to praise God when things seem very dark. I have said many … Continue reading Psalm 103:1
