Ephesians 6:13

“Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground,, and having done everything to stand.”

Ephesians 6:13

I got to admit that I sometimes find it hard to just stand. There is an element of trust that comes along with standing. I guess it’s hard because it may involve waiting. But sometimes we just need to stand and allow God to do his thing.

Maybe you are at a crossroads right now and God is saying to stand. We don’t like that, because we want to go. Sometimes we just need to be still. Many times He just wants to prepare you or arm you with His truth.

Sometimes people will try and push you forward or backwards, which causes me to think of something else. I need to defend my boundaries. People should not propel you but God should.

Also, standing stretches you. It can be uncomfortable when you want to go. People may not understand you, but if God said to stand, don’t you dare move. But again, if He said go, you better go!
