As my eyes opened this morning and the light came through the window, these words came to me. LIGHT ALWAYS WINS!

“While the sun and the light, the moon and the stars, are not darkened, and the clouds do not return after the rain.”
Ecclesiastes 12:2
When these words were written, their means of light were through fires, candles and lanterns. And often times when they traveled at night they were guided only by the light of the moon. But when the sun arose, people could function. I don’t believe that we have the appreciation of light like they did.
The Bible associated darkness with trials and death. In death, the moon and the stars are darkened. It is like when the clouds rolled in, everything was at at standstill.
As believers sometimes we feel like this when the clouds roll in. Everything in life is at a standstill. But as believers, deep inside everyone of us knows this. LIGHT ALWAYS WINS! Even in death.
We know that “weeping may endure for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning.
You may be at a standstill right now, but know this. LIGHT ALWAYS WINS!
