Lamentations 3:55-57

“I called on your name, Oh Lord, from the depths of the pit. You heard my plea: Do not close your ears to my cries for help. You come near when I call You, and you said, do not fear.”

Lamentations 3:55-57

If you feel that you are crying from a pit this morning, I hope that this passage is an encouragement to you.

Sometimes we just pray, but then there are times that we feel like we are in a pit when there is no way out and our prayers are prayers of despair, cries and pleas.

If that is you, the end of this verse is for you. “God is coming near to you, and he is saying, do not fear. My friend, He is your present help in your time of trouble.”

Go ahead, and cry out and plea to Him, my friend. Let this be confirmation that He hears you and that He is near you. May He flood you with His peace.
