Have you ever heard the saying, THE END JUSTIFIES THE MEANS? Some people live this way, and the problem is, it’s not biblical. God is not as concerned with the results but rather in how you got there.

One example would be to lie to your kids to get the result that you want. Or being dishonest to gain what in your eyes is right. Or maybe saying, I am not getting paid what I should so I will take from the company in some way to level things out. God wants us to rely on Him and His Grace. It is wrong to push aside our Christian values or live and make decisions that contradict the character of God and his Word to get a certain result. When we rely on our own tactics, we take the glory away from God. God wants us to trust in Him.
“For the eyes of the Lord look to and fro, throughout the whole earth to show himself strong in behalf of them who is perfect towards Him.”2 Chronicles 16:9
We read in this chapter that Asa had victory in the past because he relied on the Lord. But when he relied on himself, it was very displeasing to God.Let’s learn from his mistakes. The only way God is glorified through our good is when He is producing it. The most important thing is that He is leading and that our decisions our based on His character.
