1 Corinthians 12 tells us that God has put the body together so that extra honor and care are given to those parts with less dignity.
The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:12

When I was younger, my dad always said, take care of your body, or you will pay for it later. And physically, he was correct. I feel every past injury.
Sometimes, we take for granted how important each part of the body is. Scripture even tells us that even the smallest part should be given greater honor. Yes, we are to give honor to our leaders, but we are also to give honor to those weaker areas of the body.
Friends, I believe there is a battle coming. I think that is why God is moving all around us, to prepare us for this, and we need to be united arm in arm. Every member of the body is important, so let’s function as a body encouraging, praying for and caring for one another.
Let us stand United as believers locked arm in arm prepared for the battle that is yet to come. TAKE CARE OF THE BODY! In the fall, the leaves fall off the trees. In the summer, for about six weeks, the geese molt their feathers and can’t fly. I don’t think the trees wonder if they will ever be the same again. I don’t think the geese wonder if they will ever fly again.
They are in a season and it will pass. They just need to be patient and know that good times are ahead. That’s what I want to leave with you today. God holds you in the palm of your hand. This season will pass. You will fly again. You will be made new again.
That’s what we have, my friends, that the world doesn’t: hope. When I accepted Him, I realized that I was no longer my problem but His. I just needed to trust in Him. He will make a way when there seems to be no way.
“For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and saids to you, do not fear; I will help you.”
Isaiah 41:13
Today is the first day of Spring, and with the change of season, I pray that God will move us into a new season with Him!
