Don’t ask me where I picked up this saying, but I always say, “To have more of God, you need to want more of God!”

I am pretty adventurous and like many things in life, but there isn’t anything more satisfying than the presence of God.

His Word is the first thing when I open my eyes in the morning, even before a cup of coffee. His voice is like opening up a gift given to me Christmas morning. When I worship Him, my heart leaps for joy and it takes me places I never been before. And there are times, that tears come running down my eyes. Have you ever experienced this?

The presence of God, no matter what I am going through, becomes like a wild fire. It’s like, I never want to stop worshiping. It truly sets my feet a dancing and my heart rejoicing.

If you never experienced this, what is holding you back? If you have but it has not been like that lately, it’s not because God moved, but you have. Just enter into His presence through prayer, meditating on His Word and put on some worship music.

The only thing that is holding us back is sin, our idols and our busyness. “Therefore since we are surrounded by such a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and sin that easily ensures us.”

Hebrews 12:1

Believe me, friends, it’s worth it! Give up those things that are keeping you from more of His presence. TO HAVE MORE OF HIM, YOU NEED TO WANT MORE OF HIM!
