“Even strong young lions grow hungry, but those who “seek”, trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.”

Psalm 34:10

I find it interesting that that the Psalmist would use young lions. A young Lion is resilient, full of energy and strong, but they still can become hungry. The same with a person who seem to have everything all together can experience disappointment and pain in life.

But the young or old, weak or strong, can achieve what they can’t on their own by seeking God.

To me seeking God means that I am not depending on my own strength. There are many sayings that people falsely claim to be a verse in the Bible. One of them is, “God helps those who help themselves.” I heard this many times. But the truth is “God helps those who can’t help themselves. “

You discover resources outside yourself when you turn to God and seek Him. When you don’t rely on your own strength or decisions.

Friends, I have discovered that when you truly seek the Lord, you will lack nothing in life.
