“You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.”

Psalm 23:5b

David seems to get real excited when he gets to the end of verse 5. Excited about how good God is to him. As I wrote yesterday in spite of the enemies that David had, he knew God had a plan for him. God did not abandon him.

That’s what I want to say to you this morning. No matter what you are going through, you are not forgotten. God has a plan for you. Remember, He holds you in the palm of his hand. In him, all things are held together.

What a feeling to have when we can say our cup runs over. When we are connected to Him, that is what happens. It runs over and spreads to everyone around you. That is why it’s so important to start your day with the Lord!

Walk out the door this morning just praising Him in how good He is to you and your cup will also run over.
