Have you ever felt like throwing in the towel? To give up? You know Elijah felt that way. You know, sometimes we focus on our present circumstances, that we forget what God did for us in the past. Despite what God did through Elijah in the past, his immediate circumstances caused him to be depressed. That sometimes happens to us. Family problems, financial problems, job problems, etc…

Instead of God just coddling Elijah, he gave him several assignments. Instead of focusing on your troubles, listen to Gods still small voice. Just like Elijah, he chooses to do great things in you, through his strength. Don’t allow the enemy to cut you off from what God wants to do through you.
