You know as parents, when you are not on the top of your game, it affects the whole house. Rest and health are so important. Spiritually when we are running on fumes not only does it affect us, but those around us that God wants to touch through us. If you are running on fumes, it’s not because of your job, your family, your church, your friends, etc. it is the condition of your heart. The question today is this: Are you seeking fulfillment in the wrong places?

“And to know the love of Christ, that passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.”

Ephesians 3:19

I always know when I am running on fumes that something is out of whack and it is usually because I am out of position. Filling my life with things that keep me out of the race instead of filling myself with the things that boost me forward. Remember what our heart is about affects everything around us.
