2 Corinthians 4:8-9

“We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven by despair. We are hunted down but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down but never destroyed.”

Folks there is a major difference between failure and defeat. Many of us have failed in our relationships and life decisions. Defeat means there is no hope but not so when we fail. When we fail, we get knocked down, but we get back on that horse and start all over again. You keep yourself in the game. Remember, failure is just temporary but defeat is permanent.

We live hopeless lives because we take failure as defeat and we give up. My failures in the past has led me to success today because I was willing to learn from my mistakes.

So folks keep yourself in this race, because God has much for you to do. He has a plan for you and it’s always for good and not for evil. When we fail, God uses those times to make us stronger and to strengthen our relationship with Him. When we are just hanging on by our finger tips, that is when God is just getting started. This is when He does His best work!
