Listen! Most of our plans do not stand, but when God is determined to do something, it will happen. I don’t care how much I want it to happen, or how great I think my plan is, God has the final word. That is why God is God and I am not.

I have learned, when I relinquish control to God, I can sleep at night. I have learned that Gods timing and mine are not always the same. Also, God doesn’t always show his hand. I don’t need to see the whole picture which is hard for me. Also I have learned not to get comfortable, God can change plans in a drop of a hat. I have seen it many times.

So, this is my conclusion. If we are willing to simply obey, God will take care of all the details. Like Elijah, when things seem hopeless, God can send the ravens to feed us.
